Hill Walking is prevalent in the west of Angus which
is surrounded by medium to difficult hills. Most of the hills can be
walked in 3 to 6 hours from the readily available car parks. Steepness
is gradual to fairly difficult depending on the hills. Advice can be
obtained from site host.

Walking - Many coastal and cliff walks are available on
the East of Angus. The many glens also give opportunities
for pleasant walks, as do the forests which can be found in all parts of
Angus.

| Ornithology - There are two main wildlife reserves in
Angus. The Basin Visitor Centre at Montrose gives opportunities to watch
the varied bird and animal life in and around the Basin.

giving tuition in how to do traditional Scottish Country Dances. |

Theatre - The Dundee Repertory Theatre attracts many big
name companies with their productions. The Whitehall Theatre and
the Little Theatre can also be found in Dundee. Arbroath has two
theatres: The Webster and the Abbey. Most towns stage
productions in their town halls from time to time.
